The Work Methods

Work that has been done entirely by hand allows not only for the highest standard and quality in the making of an item, but it also gives the artisan full freedom to produce all of his creations and projects with utter  precision.

A fine knowledge of the numerous techniques and traditional work methods is crucial for this freedom.

I don’t claim to know everything about my craft, but by these words, I hope to help others understand what this trades is all about and perhaps in so doing, help young apprentices discover principles and methods of work which are sadly little known nowadays and little used.

Handcrafting, entirely by hand, a piece of precious metal jewelry and precious stone jewelry calls for constant reflexion, in order to have total control over the operations that are to be done in the right order while never losing track of the objective that is represented in the design.
